Well you have three quarters of an inch on me, so I too have problems with clothes.
I did buy some dungarees in Majorca last year which fit perfectly because, as my friend pointed out, many Spanish women are petite. So why does the fashion industry think all brits are 5’ 8” + But I did not know the wrap around the neck trick thing. Lovely cheering post as always Jackie, thank you ☺️

I did not know about that waistband trick! I always assume things won't fit around my waist these days, but how lovely are these exchanges. I love them at work, especially between two customers who've never met before. That's what I'm going to miss when I leave, I'll just have to make more of an effort to find them elsewhere :)
So, I’m not the only one, Harriet :D It’s lovely that you experience this kind of thing regularly in the shop and I can imagine you’ll miss it! Maybe you/we need to hang around bus stops more, or randomly join queues for the cinema (!) etc. etc. Thanks for reading, Harriet, and also for restacking x
